On September 19th, District 5170 will host the Rotary Collaborative Impact Summit, and I encourage everyone to attend, especially our newer Rotarians.
This is a great opportunity to connect with Rotarians from other clubs, learn more about Rotary, exchange ideas, and hear from an outstanding lineup of speakers.
One of the best things about Rotary is remembering that we are part of something much bigger than our own club. There are thousands of Rotarians throughout District 5170, all working together to make a difference.
Get outside of our club. Meet other Rotarians. Learn something new. Bring those ideas back to Niles. So, don’t wait, get your ticket today!
Fellowship Friday
A special thank you to Harald and Jeneva Westendorf for hosting this week’s Fellowship Friday. These gatherings are a great reminder that Rotary isn’t just about what we do, it’s also about who we do it with. The friendships we build are what make our club stronger, more connected, and more fun. Service brings us together. Fellowship keeps us together.
Get Ready… There May Be a Test!
How well do you know your Rotary club? Do you know who the last 14 Niles Rotary Presidents were? Do you know what their presidential themes were?
Well… there will be a test! And that’s not all. How well do you know your fellow Rotarians? Yep… there will be another test!
Don’t worry, I promise this isn’t school. Think of it more as a game… with just enough competition to make things interesting! Over the coming weeks, we’re going to have some fun learning more about our club’s history, Rotary, our past leaders, and, most importantly, each other.
You may discover something you never knew about the person sitting next to you. You may learn something fascinating about our club’s history. And you may even find out that you know a lot less about Rotary than you thought you did! Come ready to learn, laugh, and maybe prove that you really do know your Rotary family.
