Fellowship Friday
A big thank you to Manuel and Karen Franco for opening their home and hosting another wonderful Fellowship Friday! And a special shout-out to Fun Mary for capturing the evening with all the great photos and videos. It’s always fun seeing the smiles, laughter, and friendships that make our Rotary family so special. Service brings us together. Fellowship keeps us together.
Congratulations to Our Youth Service Team!
Congratulations to Youth Service Chair Paul Cardoso and his entire team for helping make the District 5170 Interact Leadership/New Presidents Meeting such a great success! Investing in our young leaders is one of the most important things we do as Rotarians. Thank you to everyone who gave their time and energy to help inspire the next generation of leaders and introduce them to the power of Service Above Self.
This Thursday — It’s GAME TIME!
We’re changing things up this week! Put away the traditional meeting agenda because it’s time for…FAMILY BY CHOICE FEUD!
Our Rotary version of Family Feud will feature two teams battling for bragging rights, Rotary glory, and—most importantly—two great local nonprofit organizations.
In one corner:
Jennifer Dow-Rowell and “Feud Around & Find Out” (FAFO)
Playing on behalf of S.A.V.E. — Safe Alternatives to Violent Environments
And in the other corner:
Christina Valdez and “The Gear Girls”
Playing on behalf of Ohlone Humane Society
President Sam will donate $100 to each nonprofit in appreciation of both teams stepping up and playing. But why should the President have all the fun? Would you like to join me and make a donation? You can bring cash or a check to the meeting, or donate directly online:
S.A.V.E.:

Ohlone Humane Society:

Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps support two organizations doing important work in our community.
This Week’s Goal: HAVE FUN!
This Thursday isn’t about following our normal meeting schedule. It’s about stepping outside the routine. It’s about laughing. It’s about friendly competition. It’s about supporting two great organizations. And most importantly, it’s about fellowship and having FUN with our Rotary
family! Rotary accomplishes incredible things because people come together to serve—but we should never forget to enjoy the friendships we build along the way.
So come ready to laugh, cheer on your favorite team, answer a few survey questions from your seat, and find out which Rotary “family” will walk away with the first-ever Family By Choice Feud bragging rights!
Survey says… SEE YOU THURSDAY!
