President
Job Description
The President leads the effort to support and promote the programs, mission, and fundraising goals of The Niles Rotary Foundation. This position works closely with the Club President, leadership of both the Niles Rotary Club and the Niles Rotary Foundation, and club members to encourage charitable giving, and involvement in Rotary grant opportunities and projects.
The Rotary Foundation President also leads the Board’s efforts to maintain and grow the Niles Rotary Foundation Endowment Fund, to ensure that Niles Rotary can continue to pay for important club projects and charitable initiatives for years to come.
Primary Responsibilities
Foundation Education & Awareness
- Educate club members about the mission, programs, and impact of the The Niles Rotary Foundation.
- Promote understanding of Niles Rotary Foundation programs, including local and global grants, and other potential humanitarian initiatives.
- Provide Niles Rotary Foundation updates to club members
- Encourage member participation in Foundation-related activities and programs.
Foundation Fundraising & Giving
- Encourage both annual giving and long-term charitable support of the Niles Rotary Foundation.
- Work with club leadership to establish and recognize Niles Foundation giving goals.
- Work with Niles Foundation leadership to maintain and grow the Niles Foundation Endowment fund
Goal of the Position
To strengthen the impact and involvement of the Niles Rotary Club of Fremont in supporting the mission of The Niles Rotary Foundation through fundraising, grant participation, and humanitarian service that benefits communities locally and around the world.
