Job Description

The Rotary Club Administration Committee Chair is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the club, ensuring effective communication, organization, and member engagement. This role involves supporting the President, the Board and Committee members to in their established goals and activities by coordinating various logistical and administrative tasks.

Reports to the President, manages and assists the Sargeant at Arms, Communication Chair and Social Chair if needed.

Primary Responsibilities

Ensuring Effective Communication
Supports the Communications Chair to provide uniform messaging to various audiences across platforms including club newsletters, email alerts, club private and public web pages and Instagram accounts, and other social media.

Organization
Documents and verifies the flow of fundamental club tasks so Board and Committee members as well a club members can complete them easily.  Ensures transparency, privacy, legal concerns and most importantly, Niles Rotary Club charter and by-law requirements and policies are adhered to.  

Coordinates the use of ClubRunner and/or other club management tools so that Board and Committee members can fully utilize them to meet their responsibilities and objectives.

Member Engagement
Supports the Sergeant at Arms in ensuring that weekly club meetings and events run smoothly.  Supports the Social Chair and Communications Chair as requested/needed.

To ensure an engaging and smoothly run club that strengthens member participation, community connections, and the overall success of the club.
